Walk into Croft Roy and you will be immediately struck by the history and character of this 200 year old listed building. Original beams, polished floors and an open fireplace blend well with contemporary fitments and equipment. The well-equipped kitchen/diner is the hub of the cottage, with seating and equipment for 6 people and all you need to prepare anything from a snack to a full three-course meal. Relax in the spacious lounge with it's squashy sofas, open fire, original Victorian oil paintings and TV, DVD and CD player. Or enjoy one of our traditional board games with the family, or simply curl up with a book from our shelves to the sound of the crackling logs. The brand new oil-fired combi-boiler ensures that all rooms are beautifully warm, with constant, unlimited hot water. If you've been out roaming the hills, taking in a spot of fishing or round of golf, just drop your outdoor gear and/or dog in our well-heated utility room to dry off while you enjoy a warming cup of coffee or, even better, a wee dram of the local whisky, Glen Morangie! We welcome children and have a selection of toys and a large, enclosed garden for them to blow off steam. Tain shoreline with its lovely children's playground is only a few minutes walk away.
